We aspire to see architectural solutions for today that are attractive and sustainable.
Our portfolio is a collection of practical devices to make a comfortable interior space for modern life, Ventilation and Insulation solutions are basic immediate needs for the disrupted millions who are adapting to be able to work at home in a clean safe space.
For example, we provide sustainable energy solutions in the form of TMx, Inc. (HAT) to communities where people need heat abatement technology; but those people cannot afford the cost of buying electrical appliances much less installing and maintaining electrical air conditioning.
Why? Because that electricity comes from fossil fuel resources that have a huge carbon footprint!
Why air condition when you can cut a big slice out of needing it?
So, if you contribute, you can reduce a slice of a pollution source and make an impact on the global warming problem we all have.
Oh, by the way, you get a badge for your hat or shirt or lapel that says "H.A.T".

I was in Rome starting in 1956. When I went to the Coliseum I was on the floor of the arena itself and all through the bowels of the slaughterhouse. At the catacombs of the Saints and Martyrs I got a rosary with a relic of ashes from the bones inside of the plastic bubble. At the Pantheon which is not the Greek Parthenon, I stood under the Oculus for the first time; and have been back many times to see the wonder of vision to the sky and a connection to nature through the art and science of Architecture under the most brilliant roof design in a perfect building.
The most fascinating part of the Pantheon is its giant dome, with its famous hole in the top (The eye of the Pantheon, or oculus). The dome was the largest in the world for 1300 years and until today it remains the largest unsupported dome in the world! The diameter of the dome is 43.30 meters or 142ft (for comparison, the United States Capitol dome is 96 feet in diameter) and is in perfect proportion with the Pantheon by the fact that the distance from the floor to the top of the dome is exactly equal to its diameter.
The great architectural achievement was due to the massive weight of the large dome. Roman engineers lightened the dome as much as possible; not only its thickness progressively decreases, but the materials used in the upper part of the dome were lighter with internal spaces within the dome walls. The decrease in thickness has the effect that while the interior of the ceiling is spherical, its exterior is slightly “flattened”. It is larger than the dome of St. Peter’s basilica but since it seems flattened from the outside it is hard to get a full sense of its dimension. The hole (oculus), 7.8 meters in diameter, is the only source of light and is the connection between the temple and the gods above. Rain occasionally fall through it, but the floor is slanted and drains the water if it manages to hit the floor. In practice, rain seldom falls inside the dome. It is the best preserved Ancient Roman monument. It is a bit of a mystery how the Pantheon managed to survive barbarian raids when all the rest of Roman monuments had been shattered. Its turning into a church in 609 AD has a lot to do with it in later time, but also the structure itself is way ahead of its time. In fact, the exact composition of the material is still unknown and appears to be structurally similar to modern day concrete! Whatever the reasons are, the Pantheon is the only structure of its age and size that has successfully survived the damage of time and gravity, still intact with all its splendor and beauty.
Here is the reason that taking a little bite of the problem away as a result of your contribution you are reversing the trend and spinning the wheal in reverse:
1. 80% of the energy to mine coal is spent to get it to the fires the run generators of electricity.
2. That leaves 20% net right? Well, 80% of the energy of electricity is spent to get it to the distributor and chain of customers so that reduces to a small net number.
3. What is 80% of the remaining net energy value? Say, 4-5% net.
Suppose you use your share of the net four or five percent; I.e. 30% of your usual and normal consumption ends; adding back the coal and electricity that you saved and added back because of your gift, it’s value translates into and increases exponentially in saved resources and carbon footprint.
Little to no airflow filtering in and out of your room through windows can cause humidity to build up. In turn, stale air, high levels of humidity, and warm temperature can create a perfect environment for mold growth in your bedroom. Sleeping in an environment where mold is festering can be terrible for your health.
You can easily verify $1,000,000,000 (trillion) a year is about how much we use for electricity; so, saving 25% of that would be two hundred and fifty billion dollars in energy resources; plus stopping the trend toward leaving increasing numbers of fossil fuel related pollution footprints in catastrophic changes like storms, fires and at the Polar regions. Changes everywhere, especially some which may be irreversible events.
The Rotary Club members in Manila sponsor Gawad Kalinga program which has provided thousands with houses built of Cement Block and mortar; with a corrugated steel roof and no cross ventilation; we contribute similar resources to coat the houses and change the cement being used with our heat abatement technologies; so all of the profits go into charity.
Using the Pareto Principle 80% of the construction of the house is done by the people who will live in it themselves. The gift of the materials by the Rotary is 20% of the cost of building the houses in the project.
That 20% goes a long way. That is the reason that TMx, Inc. is one of our corporate subscribers. Other construction companies have joined in. The Foundation is incorporating in Manila now.
